UP Pollution Control Board (UPPCB) has released the official notification for 40 posts of Assistant Environmental Engineer (AEE) and Assistant Scientific Officer (ASO). Online application has started from 28 February 2026 and the last date is 28 March 2026. Minimum age is 21 years and maximum is 40 years (as on 01 July 2025). Engineering graduates and PhD / Postgraduate candidates can apply for this recruitment. Selection will be through CBT exam and interview.

UPPCB AEE ASO 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Education Qualification
Assistant Environmental Engineer (AEE): Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical / Civil / Environmental Engineering or AMIE qualification.
Assistant Scientific Officer (ASO):
Ph.D. in Chemistry / Zoology / Botany / Biochemistry with 3 years experience
OR
Master’s Degree with 5 years relevant experience.
Age Limit
Minimum Age – 21 Years
Maximum Age – 40 Years
