UPTET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Primary Teacher (Class 1–5)
Candidates must have NCTE recognized Graduation Degree along with BTC, D.El.Ed, B.El.Ed or equivalent teacher training qualification. Final year candidates are also eligible.
Upper Primary Teacher (Class 6–8)
Candidates must have B.Ed, BTC, B.El.Ed or equivalent qualification with minimum required marks in Graduation. Candidates having RCI recognized Special Education qualification are also eligible.
Other Eligibility
- Candidate must be an Indian Citizen.
- Must have valid ID proof.
